Two Simple Ways to Install Google Analytics in Blogger

Google Analytics is the best tool track the statistics of your site. Although, there are a number of various tools to know the statistics but Google analytics works more efficiently and provide more accurate reporting. Blogger users can use this tool to get exact tracking report as it belongs to Google and this is a plus for Blogger users. However Blogger has a stat tool also but provides a short summary of stats and Google Analytics covers the site’s statistics thoroughly. So let me tell you how you can install Google Analytics in Blogger.

How can You Install this in Blogger?

You just need to take two simple steps to install this tool in Blogger.

Step 1: Join Google Analytics

• Open Google Analytics and Sign In with your Google Account
• Click on the Sign Up button as shown in below screenshot

After that you will be required to fill a form that will look like this:

Fill this form with your site’s details and then click on “Get Tracking ID” and go ahead, where you will be asked to accept Google Analytics Terms of Service. So click on I Accept.

Now you have successfully joined Google Analytics Now its time to move to next 2nd step.

Step2: Installing Google Analytics in Blogger Site

You can install this tool in Blogger in two simple ways.
Let’s find the first one.

Installing By Analytics Web Property ID:

You will get a Tracking ID after Signed up on Google Analytics that will somehow like this:

• Get yours Tracking ID and then
• Go to Blogger Dashboard and click on Settings and then go to Others tab
• You will find a page where in the bottom you will find Google Analytic Area so paste that Tracking ID there and click on Save Settings.

Installing with Tracking Code:

• Go to Blogger Dashboard
• Go to Template and click on Edit HTML
• Find </body> tag there and paste the above code just above this </body> tag
• Replace the red code with your Tracking ID
• Click on Save Template.

Now you have done with this.

Note

You will have to wait for 2 to 3 hours after installing Google Analytics, then it will start working and tracking your site’s stats.
